Hi, I’m Sonia
I’m a dedicated counsellor and with over 8 years of experience in diverse therapeutic fields.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood trauma, and relationship difficulties, workplace issues, family issues, disordered eating, chronic health issues such as endometriosis, PCOS, fatigue related issues and also OCD, ADHD and autism. My approach is rooted in empathy and evidence-based techniques tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. My goal is to support you to gain insight in to who you are, develop coping strategies, and achieve the growth you are hoping for.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy mountain biking, camping, hiking, and time with friends and family. These passions enrich my life and inform my work, allowing me to bring a balanced perspective to our sessions.

Am I the right fit for you?
Not every therapist will be the right fit for you. I’m a big believer in approaching a few counsellors to see if the connection you build with someone, is going to be conducive to you growing, feeling safe and willing to do the work with.
Before meeting, we can have a free conversation over the phone to make sure we might be a good fit for each other. I also have a great network of other counsellors and psychologists that I can refer you on to, if we agree someone else might be better suited to you or your situation.
