Can I do both online and in person, even if I live in Hamilton?
Yes you can. Ideally we have our first session in person, and from then on can go between in person and online as it suits you.
Can I bring my partner in to my sessions?
Your partner can come along to the occasional session, but I cannot provide couples therapy to you both if I began working with just one of you. You would need to find an alternative counsellor to work with the two of you together.
Can you help me with legal and workplace issues or other specialists?
Yes, I can. I have worked with numerous clients through workplace disciplinary issues, restructures, HR issues, dismissal and personal grievances. I have also worked with many families through seperation and custody issues.
My work provides funded counselling. Do I contact the provider?
Yes, you contact the counselling provider first, and then they make contact with me. You can browse through a list of counsellors and put your preference/s. If you want to work with me, please check that your workplace provider works with me.
What if I cancel last minute?
Please try to provide 24 hours notice if you are unwell or needing to cancel. This gives me time to fill your spot. If you provide less than 24 hours notice or you don’t attend your appointment, you will be invoiced the full amount for the session.
